Visual Raaga is independently curated by Navjot Verraich through Sponsorship from the Oakville Arts Council, Oakville City Mayor, as well as SAVAC and several smaller businesses and individuals.

This exhibition brings together the works of nine South Asian visual artists from across Canada to exhibit work in a Public Building such as the Oakville Municiple Centre, in the city of Oakville. The curator Navjot Verraich, exhibits nine practicing and emerging artist members of SAVAC. The work encompassed a variety of media and styles including, photography, collage, painting, new media and Installation art. This is a contemporary visual arts exhibition intended to reach across regional contemporary and more traditional communities of colour in Oakville, by giving South Asian emerging artists visibility in a public art show and in a new community venue.
