Mind Games, Spin the Bottle, Pac-man, Olympic Games, Bloody Knuckles, Twister, the Lottery, Games of Strength, Spelling Bees, Pranks, the Atkin’s Diet, Ball Games, Puzzles, Blackmail, Tag, Head Games, Cricket, the Numbers Game, Charades, Sex Games, Russian Roulette, Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Games of Chance, Riddles, Jeopardy, Word Games, Internet Dating, Badminton, the Stock Market, Card Games, Truth or Dare? Carom, Drinking Games, Pinball, Role-playing, Jacks, Childish Games, Rubik’s Cube, War, Carnival Games, Dance-a-thons, Virtual Games, Monopoly, Indian Idol …

Games involve, play, risk and skill. Some are foolish and others are just plain mean. In the end there are winners and losers? Laughter and tears. But all the same, we just can’t stop playing those games!

SAVAC (South Asian Visual Arts Collective) invites you to come out and play! Celebrate April Fool’s Day with art, music, performances and of course…games!

8pm - Art Auction Preview where you can bid in a silent auction on paintings, photography, and prints by local SAVAC artists. Highest bidder wins a fabulous prize. Cheque and cash gratefully accepted to support artists and SAVAC. Ends @ 10pm.

9pm – Entertainment featuring talented actors, dancers, and musicians:

  • Anand Rajaram uses humour and a sense of play to create an imaginative one-person theatrical performance.
  • Gitanjali Kolanad plays ball in a Mohiniattam style dance
  • Sheliza Jamal performs from the hilarious Vagina Monologues
  • And surprise guests!


Throughout the night enjoy palm reading, tarot card readings, mehndi, tasty appetizers, drinks, fabulous prizes and games galore!
