SAVAC (South Asian Visual Arts Collective) presents Exotica~Erotica, a one-night art and performance extravaganza to benefit SAVAC and Afghani children.The event features a kitchy art exhibition and auction by members of SAVAC which plays with and critiques orientalist stereotyping around South Asian art and culture.

You can purchase a raffle ticket (good for admission) for only $10 to win an original painting, drawing or sculpture donated by a SAVAC artist. You can also bid in a silent auction for your favourite work in the exhibition that turns you on the most! Bring cash, cheque book and visa card to make sure you leave satisfied! Bidding ends at 9:30pm.

The evening will also offer many sensual pleasures and experiences. Learn ancient seduction secrets from the Kama Sutra through a dance interpretation by Gitanjali Kolanad in Kama Sutra Embrace, enjoy exotic percussive grooves by "the tabla guy", Gurpreet Chana, and discover everything you ever wanted to know about the exotic & erotic from the east through art, demonstrations and other surprises!
