FOR SUBMISSIONS
Artists and Curators
Artists and Curators Artist Submissions must include:
- a curriculum vitae, resume or biography
- 1 page project proposal, with all installation instructions/
requirements
- 1 page artist statement
- 10-20 images of recent artworks, or a cued videotape
(
NTSC VHS or DVD )
- a slide list with, title, medium, size, and date of each work
Curator Submissions must include:
- a curriculum vitae, resume or biography of the curator and each proposed artist
- 1-2 page curatorial proposal, with all installation instructions/ requirements
- 10-20 images of the proposed artists, and/or a cued videotape
(NTSC VHS or DVD)
- a slide list with, title, medium, size, and date of each work
Collaborative Exhibitions:
SAVAC welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with other arts and community organizations. Please contact us at any time to discuss your proposal.
FYI:
- Please note that SAVAC does not run its own gallery, but instead, we cultivate partnerships with other galleries and arts organizations to develop projects
- Artists are paid in accordance with the CARFAC Fee Schedule
- SAVAC's programming is made possible through the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council and our Patrons and Members
- SAVAC will take reasonable care with submission materials; however, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage or loss to support materials. Please DO NOT submit any original materials
- SAVAC does not accept submissions by fax or email
- All submissions must include self addressed stamped envelope.
Deadline:
Submissions must be postmarked September 15, or March 15
